Ingredients

  • 1 large flour tortilla
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 0.33 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella
  • 1 tsp butter or oil
  • 0.13 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp salsa (optional)

Steps

  1. Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Place tortilla in the pan and sprinkle cheese over half.
  3. Add avocado slices and a pinch of salt.
  4. Fold tortilla in half and cook 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden.
  5. Remove from pan and cut into wedges.
  6. Serve with salsa if desired.

Substitutions

  • Scramble and hard fry an egg before starting to add with the avocado for more protein.
